HCMC – Hanoi City plans to commence work on a biotechnology high-tech park on September 2 as authorities are fast-tracking the long-delayed project.
Hanoi People’s Committee Chairman Tran Sy Thanh has instructed agencies to finalize zoning approval by March and complete land clearance by August, reported the Vietnam News Agency.
The project has faced repeated setbacks due to administrative boundary adjustments in 2008 under National Assembly Resolution 15/2008/QH12, which required a review of Hanoi City’s master plan.
Changes in investment, land use, urban planning, and construction laws have also contributed to the delays, creating inconsistencies that have complicated project execution.
